I've had mixed success with the *2V migrations, so I'd tend to avoid that. Since a vCenter 6 can't manage a 4.1 host but a 5.5 can, I'd probably temporarily set up one of the new hosts with 5.5. Start up a 5.5 vCenter appliance managing the 4.1 and 5.5 result systems. Then shut down the VMs and migrate them from the 4.1 host to the 5.5 host (or vMotion if you're licensed). Upgrade the tools and VM levels and then shut down the 5.5 vCenter and have the 6 vCenter take over the 5.5 host. Move the VMs to the 6 hosts, upgrade the 5.5 host.

VMware Horizonを使用して仮想アプリケーションを使用可能かと存じます。
例えば、ローカルのIEとHorizon経由で使用しているIEを区別するために

上記解決できるのではと考えております。

Personally I suspect Microsoft changed the protocol slightly in a way it would make it irritating to use from an older system - as an incentive to get those of us using older OS versions to upgrade. They'll never admit it, they'll never document it, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

It definitely does look like it's the same thing William addresses and never would've thought of using Add-VirtualSwitchPhysicalNetworkAdapter for this. I'm surprised that it doesn't bomb out with the pNICs assigned to the vDS already, but then again if I would've just RTFM then I would've seen the critical piece:
"This cmdlet adds a host physical NIC to a standard virtual switch. If VMHost virtual network adapters are specified, the cmdlet migrates them to the virtual switch as well.
Note: If VMHost virtual network adapters are specified, the cmdlet migrates them to the respective port groups or creates new ones if VirtualNicPortgroup is not specified."
So it seems that there's more hidden features in the cmdlet than one would assume with it using the ADD verb. Lesson learned.

Workstation 15.5 update on Kubuntu 18.04 fails
I'm at a loss to understand the problem, but this update declines to install on my system, with a logged complaint regarding a call to sock.bind(('', port)). Assuming there may be a port conflict, if the error detailed the conflicting port, the interfering service could be temporarily disabled, but that information doesn't exist. There is a line number referenced in a file in the /tmp directory, which might be useful except that the file appears to be removed when the installer exists.
I've attached the installer log, in hopes that someone might have some insight into the problem.

2. %temp%\vmmsi*.log
3. c:\windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log
and upload to us?

Thanks for your reply.
I tried both of your workaround, but none of them can work. I still got the error message "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." when starting the service (Server / Agent / Worker)
The logs folder "C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware vCenter Converter Standalone\logs" has no log files but an empty folder "bundles".
What can I do next ?

After you upgrade to Fusion 11.5, you may need to manually allow the kernel extension in System Preferences==>Security & Privacy==>General.
Also, did other USB devices like storage drive work with Fusion 11.5 on your Mac?
