is it possible to install only the current security patches but don't go to a higher version(U3)?
For Example: im running "ESXi U2 13006603" and i want to install the current security patches.
Do I have to upgrade to the current version U3 to get the current security update/patches or is there a option to install only security patches?
For example: if i want to have the Security patchtes from "ESXi 6.7 Patch 1 ESXi670-201912001 2019-12-05 15160138" - so i have to go to U3?

Updated the drivers, but no difference that i can see, pre driver update i was getting approx 418MB/Min (6.9MB/s) updated the drivers using the Offline bundle and after the host rebooted approx 419MB/min (6.9MB/s)
However, when i performed the same copy using the Flash interface and NOT the HTML5 interface i was getting 1394MB/min (23MB/s) Didn't test this host in flash pre driver update.
So i did the same thing on a different host with the same RAID controller:
Upload in HTML5 interface pre driver install: 500MB/min (8.3MB/s)
Upload in Flash interface pre driver install: 1007MB/Min (16.7MB/s)
Upload in HTML5 interface Post Driver install: 430MB/min (7.1MB/s)
Upload in Flash interface Post Drive install: 858MB/Min (14.3MB/s)
However that said even at the fastest upload speed you would be wanting more than 23MB/s!
So it seems the upload method might have something to do with the slow speeds?
This is all over a 1GB ethernet network as well, if i copy files to my production, albeit much better spec VM's/hosts im getting 100MB/s copy speeds writing to VMDK HDD files presenting as Windows volumes, so its not a network bottlenext and this is all from the same source server which also eliminates that.
Plan to try and update the firmware on the RAID controller this afternoon, but its supposed to have a 2GB Cache so i should be getting much better than 23MB/s and this it to a RAID0 volume as well!

I'm trying to configure application rules, using VMware examples, but I'm it's not working properly.
My scecario is:
- NSX Version: 6.4.4
- I have two pools: lb_active and lb_standby
- I've created following Application Rule:
acl active_down nbsrv(lb_active) eq 0
use_backend lb_standby if active_down
- My Virtual Server is configurated to point to lb_active as Default Pool.
- Both pools are working, I've tested =)
- I'm using HTTPS to these pools.
When I apply this app rule to my virtual server the connections stop to be redirected.

Here's another idea to try.
Shut down the VM, close VMware Fusion.
Make a copy of the VM on your external disk.
Open the VM at the external disk, increase the virtual disk size there.
Run the update to Windows 19.03

Hello, I use windows 10 x64 1903. When I wanted to upgrade vmware workstation pro 14 to 15, I deleted the installation folder, deleted all the keys related to "vmware" in the registry, and then installed vmware workstation pro At 15:00, such an error occurred. I wonder if it can be solved?
Does anyone have a way to trigger a Logon Task? we are trying to relaunch one of the logon tasks via UEM after users switches sessions, and do not see the option for Logon Task, i see how to refresh, printers, drive mappings etc...

We are running Biztalk 2013 R2 on an Active/Active 2-node traditional Windows 2012 server cluster on VMWare.
All LUNS are physical RDM's attached to EMC XtremeIO.
Is it possible or recommended to present new LUNS from new NetApp SAN and migrate cluster?
Or is building a new cluster and re-pointing Biztalk a better alternative?
First option seems to reduce amount of Biztalk work which would be good.

I had an issue similar to this because I was using an old bookmark to connect to my vcenter. The bookmark had a whole lot of goobly gook after the URL, probably because I dragged and dropped it from the address bar and never edited it. The solution was simple. Remove all the goobly gook. So;
https://myvcenter.contoso.com/kljlsl&69/SDF&%%4/((023/&JDAD8&
became
https://myvcenter.contoso.com/
If you add the letter 'ui' after the slash, you won't be asked which client you want to use every time. (https://myvcenter.contoso.com/ui)

Я правильно же вас понял, что у вас каждый диск представляет отдельный датастор и никакого RAID нет?
