LAG is presented as a single uplink. Once it's created, you can't select active/passive adapters on it.
I only want to highlight that LAGs in vSphere give no additional benefit over the standard load-balancing policies for most of the customers. If you don't have a strong reason to use them, I'd typically recommend to keep the setup simple.
